I am your principal, Mrs. Rosalyn Lawrence!

I am a proud graduate of Hampton University where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. I began my teaching career in Pleasantville, NJ as a math teacher for the upper grades and then as a sixth grade classroom teacher. I then moved on to join the Pennsauken School District and taught seventh grade Geography and American History. I have been the Yearbook Advisor, Varsity Cheerleading Coach, African American History Program Founder and charter member of the Phifer NJHS with my colleagues at the middle school. After many rewarding years as a teacher, I earned my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and served as an Assistant Principal in the eighth grade, at Phifer as well. 

I then earned the position of Elementary Principal after many successful years at Phifer and continue to serve in that capacity at Delair Elementary School. I have been in the Pennsauken School district for 20+ years and believe that it is my sincere love for children that makes me the most effective.

I am excited about all of the educational endeavors that we undertake at Delair School and anxiously await the opportunity to serve your family.  It is my philosophy that all children should be valued, educated and loved within the school setting.

When I am not serving in Pennsauken, I am an active and proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Theta Pi Omega Chapter and enjoy serving in my church, singing, shopping, reading, writing poems and spending time with my family.
